The tornado that ravaged El Reno on Friday had a record-breaking width of 2.6 miles and was the second EF-5 category twister to hit Oklahoma in less than two weeks. EF-5 tornadoes are extremely rare and for two of this magnitude tornado to hit within 11 days of each other is phenomenal - definitely a sign.

The weather service initially rated last week's tornado an EF-3, but upgraded the strength after surveying the damage. The deadly tornado killed 18 people, packing winds of up to 295 mph.
